The 37th International Conference of the Microscopy Society of Thailand (MST37)
Brilliant Synchrotron Light Towards Microscopic World
Invitation
On behalf of the Microscopy Society of Thailand and Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization), it is our pleasure to welcome you to the 37th International Conference of the Microscopy Society of Thailand (MST37), to be held on 25th – 28th February 2020, at Kantary Hotel, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
The MST37 will bring together scientists and researchers working in microscopy and related fields in both basic and applied perspectives. In this special event, participants will have an opportunity to meet experts and explore possibility of research from microscopic world to a large facility such as synchrotron radiation source.
The program will include presentations from distinguished plenary, keynote and invited speakers of outstanding scientists in a range of physical and life sciences. Oral and poster presentations, photo contest, and exhibitions from various manufacturers will be also presented.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the MST37.
Warm regards,
Objectives of the Conference
The aim of MST37 is to encourage participation amongst the MST members, academic researchers, university students and private companies to exchange knowledge and expertise via discussions and scientific presentations at the international standard, as well as to strengthen the academic activities and research in all aspects of microscopy, and to learn about the latest development in the field of microscopy.
The scope of the Conference
The program will be divided into two parallel sessions, physical and life sciences. It includes keynote speaker, plenary lectures from outstanding researchers in the field of microscopy, invited talks from oversea and Thai experts, technical seminars on new developments in microscopy, oral and poster presentations, photo contest, and exhibitions from manufacturers.
The MST37 will provide information on microscopy and microanalysis, especially in relation to the following multidisciplinary areas on Physical, Biological and Medical Science as follows:
• Synchrotron techniques for microscopy research (e.g., X-Ray Tomography, micro-XRF, FTIR-Microspectroscopy and imaging, PEEM) • Latest Developments in Instrumentation for microscopy research. • Emerging Trends and sample preparation technique in Characterization.
Presenters are requested to submit abstract and are encouraged to submit a full paper (optional) for
• The conference proceedings (to be distributed at the conference) or • Microscopy and Microanalysis Research - The Journal of The Microscopy Society of Thailand (Microsc. Microanal. Res.)
